This is just with two layers of silk. One represents each sister’s body image.
I may print this on a panel. It is color assisted in Photoshop. I am thinking I will stretch the printed silk panel and paint on it with canvas behind it and have two paintings. Later.
I printed on a 43” x 36” piece of silk organza. There are two layers that I hung together so part of the other body is seen through the fabric. You see the distortions in the body.
Printed on silk organza and also added a layer of written word. Working on my thesis on sisters and body image.
Cocoon to butterfly?
Still experimenting on how to make these panels work.
I may end up painting and drawing on paper and then
taking a photography and printing that image onto silk
organza panels.

Working on creating layers of translucent fabric that are
painted and printed to represent my body. The plan is to create hanging
layers that when standing in front of them you see the body image
repeated.
